St.-Petersburg has arisen in the beginning of XVIII century. The city is cultural capital of Russia, it name " a museum open-air ". The basic sights of city are the Kazan Cathedral, Laurels, the Peter and Paul Fortress, huge quantity of monuments (it is enough to mention the well-known Copper Horseman).
Special charm to St.-Petersburg is given with the White nights which happen during from the end of May on the middle of July. Such surprising natural phenomenon speaks a geographical position of city. St.-Petersburg is the most northern from among the largest cities of the world.
